Filmmaker SS Rajamouli and veteran music composer MM Keeravani scripted history on Wednesday when the song ‘Naatu Naatu’ from the magnum opus ‘RRR’ bagged a Golden Globe award in the Best Original Song category.
The entire ‘RRR’ table erupted with joy at the awards ceremony when Keeravani lifted the trophy on the dias and thanked his team.
However, the celebrations did not just end there, but instead, the team of the film headed for a mega party post the historic win wherein the usually calm and composed Rajamouli was seen shaking a leg to ‘Naatu Naatu’ with none other than Keeravani himself.

A video from the post-event celebrations has gone viral on the internet in which Rajamouli can be seen entering backstage with Keeravani and the trophy in his hand.
While the team of the film, including the leads Ram Charan and Jr NTR cheered and hooted for the stalwarts, they broke into a quick dance on ‘Naatu Naatu’ which was being played in the background.
Rajamouli was seen putting an arm around Keeravani and doing the famous ‘Naatu Naatu’ hookstep, all the while beaming with joy and pride.
RRR at Oscars
The massive victory for ‘RRR’ has only further boosted its chance to win an award at the Oscars 2023. While the film is already being lauded and celebrated across the globe, it was recently screened for the members of the Academy, during which it received a standing ovation.
For those unversed, ‘RRR’ has found a spot for itself in the Music (Original Song) category for the chartbuster ‘Naatu Naatu’. With this, it has become the first Indian song to be shortlisted for Oscars.
