After emerging as one of the highest grossers of 2022, ‘The Kashmir Files’ is all set to release in theatres once again.
Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri took to his official Twitter handle to make the announcement. He stated that ‘The Kashmir Files’ is the first film to release twice in theatres within the span of one year.
He also urged the audience who missed watching it in the theatres to book their tickets and watch it on the big screens.

Why is ‘The Kashmir Files’ releasing on Jan 19?
Agnihotri shared that January 19 is marked as ‘The Kashmiri Hindu Genocide Day’ and hence, the film is set to re-release in theatres on that day.

Living up to its title, ‘The Kashmir Files’ is a true story based on video interviews of the first generation victims of The Kashmir Genocide of Kashmiri Pandit Community.
It’s a heart-wrenching narrative of the pain, suffering, struggle and trauma of Kashmiri pandits and questions eye-opening facts about democracy, religion, politics and humanity.
Written and directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, the film features a stellar cast of actors including Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumaar, Pallavi Joshi and Chinmay Mandlekar.
