Bollywood actress Urvashi Rautela has been all over the news for her alleged cold war with Team India cricketer Rishabh Pant. She was present at the Dubai International Stadium for both of India’s games against Pakistan in Asia Cup 2022.
Amid link-up rumours and war of words with Pant, Urvashi had posted an edited video featuring Pakistan cricketer Naseem Shah on her Instagram story.
However, the ‘Great Grand Masti’ actress has now issued a clarification over her video after Naseen Shah stated he ‘doesn’t know’ who Urvashi is.
On her Instagram story, Urvashi wrote, “Couple of days back…my team shared…fan-made cute edits (around 11-12) without any knowledge of other people involved in it. Would kindly request…media to not create any sort of news.”
Speculation about their relationship grew strong after the actress posted a video with the pacer. However, during a press conference, Naseem put an end to all the speculation and said his focus is on cricket.
“I’m not aware of the video. But I’m grateful to all the fans who come to the stadiums to watch me play. It’s a good thing that fans like me and I’m thankful for that. But I don’t consider myself someone special. I’m not someone who has fallen from the sky. I don’t even know who Urvashi is. My focus is only on cricket,” Naseem said.
The fan-made video shows Urvashi smiling at the Pakistani bowler. Later, he is also seen trying to hide a smile as the camera pans back to him from Urvashi.
Moments after the actress shared the video, it went viral, with fans asking her to stay away from Naseem Shah.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Urvashi will be seen in ‘Inspector Avinash” opposite Randeep Hooda in the lead role.
