A day after Rakhi Sawant shared pictures and videos of her wedding with Adil Durrani, the latter has denied tying the knot with the former Bigg Boss contestant.
Adil informed Times Now that their marriage is ‘fake’ and denied the reports. However, after learning about his reaction, Rakhi was left heartbroken and she broke down during an interview with the news portal. Rakhi’s call recording from the interview has also gone viral on social media.
Rakhi makes shocking claims
In the audio, Rakhi is heard saying, “I have given all the proof of our marriage. I don’t know why he is denying. I trusted him blindly and got married to him seven months ago. He asked me not to reveal about our marriage for a year because of his sister’s wedding. I trusted him and went to Bigg Boss Marathi 4 house.”
Rakhi added, “When I was in the Bigg Boss house, many things happened outside the house, which were out of my limit. Hence, I shared photos and videos of our wedding on social media. I was scared. He loves me a lot but why is he denying my marriage? He must be getting pressure from his family.”

“Maine darr gayi thi and woh cases nahi hone chahiye jo aaj kal bahot ho rahe hai. Samaj rahe ho? Mujhe nahi pata Adil kyu deny kar raha hai,” she added.

Rakhi also cried and said her mother is hospitalised and has been diagnosed with brain cancer. “I am worried for her. Adil has not been speaking with me since morning. You can ask him why he is not speaking with me. I don’t why such bad things are happening to me. Why why why,” she said.

Taking to her official Instagram account, Rakhi shared a video in which the couple can be seen exchanging garlands and signing a document which appears to be a marriage registration form.
While speaking to Times of India, Rakhi revealed that she got married to Adil in July 2022 itself, but they kept it a secret as the latter had stopped her from disclosing it. “He felt that it would get difficult to find a suitor for his sister if people got to know about our marriage. According to him, tum Rakhi Sawant ke saath judoge toh tumne badnaami lee hai,” she shared.
Rakhi and Adil’s love story
Rakhi, who is known for grabbing eyeballs for her controversial statements and relationships, introduced Adil as her boyfriend to the media in May 2022. She had earlier said that though Adil is six years younger to her, the age difference does not bother them.
The two are often spotted hanging out together and Adil had even gifted Rakhi a BMW worth Rs 40 lakh a few months ago.
