Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan is currently riding high on the back to back success of his films and seems like the national sensation has decided to get himself a new fancy house.
And the actor who has come to Kartik’s aid in this house-hunting process is none other than Shahid Kapoor.
According to a report in Hindustan Times, Kartik has decided to move to Shahid’s luxurious apartment in Mumbai’s Juhu locality. The actor will reportedly pay a monthly rent of whopping Rs 7.5 lakh to Shahid for the next three years.

The report stated that Shahid’s wife Mira Rajput and Kartik’s mother Mala Tiwari completed the formalities recently and the 36-month lease transaction was finally carried out on January 12, 2023.
The luxurious apartment, located on the Juhu Tara Road, is spread over 3.681 sq ft on the ground floor and basement. It comes with two parking spaces inside the compound as well.
As per the documents, there will be a 7 per cent hike in the rent with each passing year. This means that during the three-year period, Kartik will pay a monthly rent of Rs 7.5 lakh for the first 12 months, Rs 8.02 lakh per month in the second year, and Rs 8.58 lakh in the third year.
Not just that, but Kartik has also reportedly paid a security deposit worth Rs 45 lakh.

At present, Kartik stays with his family in a plush house in Versova. Interestingly, it is the same place where the actor had lived as a paying guest during his struggling days.
Kartik bought the apartment for Rs 1.60 crore back in 2019.
On the other hand, Shahid and Mira moved into their luxurious new house in October 2022, which they had purchased for a whopping Rs 58 crore.
Located at Three Sixty West, the duplex offers a breathtaking view of Mumbai’s skyline and the stunning Bandra-Worli Sea Link.

Kartik and Shahid’s upcoming projects
On the work front, Kartik is gearing up for the release of his film ‘Shehzada’, which is set to release on February 10.
He has his hands full with a number of other projects including ‘Aashiqui 3’, ‘Captain India’, ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ and Kabir Khan’s untitled next.
Shahid, on the other hand, is all set to mark his OTT debut with ‘Farzi’, co-starring Vijay Sethupathi. Apart from that, he will also reportedly feature in Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Bloody Daddy’.
