Model-turned-actress Mugdha Godse, who made her Bollywood debut in 2008 with Madhur Bhandarkar’s Fashion, has turned a year older today (July 26). The Free Press Journal caught up with Mugdha for an exclusive interview.
Unlike celebrities who go on vacations and trips abroad to celebrate their special day, Mugdha prefers to stay at home with her loved ones. “The plan is to bring family and friends together and do group chanting at my residence — ‘Om Namoh Bhagavataye Vasu Devaya’ in the divine melody channelled by my beloved master Tarneivji and enjoy the blessings,” the actress says.
Mugdha is one of the fittest stars of B-Town and sticks to a strict diet. She reveals her birthday will be no different and will definitely not be a cheat day. “I follow an amazing diet, and the plan is to do the same without a break. No sugar, no gluten and intermittent fasting,” she avers.
Recalling some of her fond childhood birthday memories, Mugdha gushes, “When we were kids, we used to be so excited about our birthdays. But that’s not the case now. I believe it is just another day. But you get many discounts on shopping, and I love that part! Some of my sweetest memories of my birthday as a kid are cutting a cake and enjoying it with my siblings, distributing candies in school was a big thing, and now it feels so silly.”
On a parting note, the actress reveals her birthday resolution. “My resolution is to always try to be a better person, lead a peaceful life and manage that well,” she concludes.
Over the years, Mugdha has been a part of films like All the Best: Fun Begins, Heroine, and Gali Gali Chor Hai, among others. The actress was recently seen in The Broken News alongside Jaideep Ahlawat, Sonali Bendre, and Shriya Pilgaonkar.
