Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt recently underwent a heart surgery in the city, a new report stated.
According to a report in Times of India, Bhatt underwent an angioplasty around four days ago.
The report stated that the 74-year-old had a major health check-up last month wherein the doctor had said that he might need a heart surgery soon.

While the family has not released an official statement yet, Mahesh Bhatt’s son Rahul Bhatt informed TOI that the filmmaker is back home now.
He stated that all’s well that ends well and added that he cannot share much details about the surgery as too many people were not allowed in the hospital.
Bhatt’s wife Soni Razdan, daughters Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt and Pooja Bhatt, are yet to comment on the same.

On the film front, Bhatt is all set for the release of his next film titled ‘1920: Horrors of Heart’. The film has been written by him and it will mark the Bollywood debut of television fame Avika Gor.
If reports are to be believed, it will star Randheer Rai opposite Avika,
The film is being produced by Vikram Bhatt and directed by his daughter Krishna Bhatt.
