Prabha’s uncle, veteran Telugu actor and former Union Minister Krishnam Raju died aged 83 on Sunday morning in Hyderabad’s AIG hospital.
Krishnam Raju worked in almost more than 183 films. He was also a part of Prabhas’s latest pan India release ‘Radhe Shyam’.
Close friends and relatives of the late veteran star thronged in to pay their last respects.
Krishnam Raju is survived by wife Shyamala Devi and daughters Praseedi, Prakeerthi and Pradeepthi. Prabhas is his nephew.
His last rites will take place on Monday (September 12). He will be cremated with state honours.

Director Ramesh Varma [Rakshasandu] rushed to pay his last respects to the departed soul.
Several celebrities mourned the death of Krishnam Raju on social media.
Director SS Rajamouli tweeted, “Deeply saddened by Krishnam Raju Garu one of the pioneer personalities of TFI. Who craved unique work that got him the title of Rebel Star.”
Vishnu Manchu wrote, “Heartbroken our family has lost our elder. A legend.”
Actor Nani tweeted, “Thank you for all the memories sir. Honoured to have shared screen space with you. Rest in peace Krishnam Raju Garu. Strength and condolences to Prabhas Anna and family.”
