What is vitiligo?
Vitiligo is a condition that causes loss of skin colour in patches. The discoloured patches keep getting bigger with time and it can also affect the hair and the insides of the mouth.
Vitiligo occurs when pigment-producing cells die or stop functioning.
While treatment may improve the texture of the skin, there is no specific cure for the disease.
