Social media sensation Faisal Shaikh, who is popularly known as Mr Faisu, recalled his initial days of struggle in the city when he worked at a perfume store.
During his recent podcast with Maniesh Paul, Faisal shared that he once got a job at a perfume store where there were 32 women employees and he was the only man.
He then mentioned how one fine evening, a beautiful customer had entered the store to try out perfumes and his carelessness cost the store as well as himself a bomb amount.

Broke a bottle as I was nervous: Faisal
Faisal recalled that he had to spray the perfume on the customer’s wrist and wave it a bit to let her test the fragrance.
“I looked at her and got so nervous, the bottle fell from my hand. It was of Rs 14,000. It was my second or third day at work,” he shared.
He added that he admitted his mistake in front of the store manager the next day and they decided to compensate for the broken bottle by deducting the amount from his salary for the next two months.
“I worked there for two months and left. Now, I have a brand of myself. I launched it on my birthday and got Rs 1 crore pre-order,” he gushed.

Faisal’s television projects
After becoming an internet sensation with his funny short videos, Faisal participated in Rohit Shetty’s stunt-based reality show ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 12’, in which he was lauded for his fighting spirit.
Post that, he went on to participate in dance-based reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10’, in which he emerged to be the first runner-up.
