‘Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva’ has taken the box office by storm, and ever since the announcement of the second part ‘Dev’ was put out, fans have been left wondering and speculating as to who would play the protagonist in the second installment.
The first part with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead introduced the audience to the main antagonist of the astraverse – ‘Dev’. However, his face has not been revealed yet and the second part will tell the audience the story of Dev’s rise and doom and his battle with Amrita.
While fans are convinced that Deepika Padukone will be seen essaying Amrita in ‘Brahmastra Part 2: Dev’, it is still not clear as to who will step into the shoes of the evil Dev. If reports are to be believed, Ranveer Singh and Hrithik Roshan have been approached for the role, but no confirmation has been put out yet.
Amid all the buzz, Karan Johar’s iconic picture from 2018 is now going viral. In the photo that the ‘Brahmastra’ producer had shared four years ago, he was seen posing with Ranbir, Alia, Deepika, Ranveer, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan, and it was captioned, “The biggest BLOCKBUSTER ever!!!!”
And netizens are now wondering if the “blockbuster” that KJo mentioned was none other than ‘Brahmastra’ itself.
Among those featuring in the photo, Ranbir, Alia and SRK have already starred in the first ‘Brahmastra’ film, and Deepika and Ranveer are rumoured to be part of the second one.
Going by this theory, Aamir can also be seen playing a key role in the trilogy in the second or third installment.
Meanwhile, ‘Brahmastra’ has become the seventh Indian film to enter the Rs 100 crore club in its first weekend itself. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in key roles.
