After much speculation, Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty is all set to tie the knot with Team India cricketer KL Rahul before the end of January.
As per the latest report in Hindustan Times, Athiya and Rahul will marry each other on January 23.
The wedding will be held at Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala.
Wedding invites sent out
According to the report, invites for the wedding have already been sent out and among those who have confirmed their presence is Akanksha Ranjan, who is Athiya’s closest friend.
The wedding will reportedly be attended by only the close friends and family members of the couple. While the nuptials will take place at the farmhouse, the guests will stay at a plush five-star property near the venue.

All about the wedding festivities
The report also gave an insight on the pre-wedding festivities, which will begin from January 21.
The couple will host sangeet, mehendi and haldi functions over a course of two days. Athiya’s parents Suniel and Mana Shetty and her brother Ahan Shetty are expected to perform in the sangeet.
While only a handful of people from the film industry have been invited, the pre-wedding festivities will be no less than a starry affair.

Athiya and Rahul’s love story
Athiya and Rahul have been in a relationship for over three years now and had gone public just about a year ago. They often share adorable pictures with each other on social media.
Athiya made her acting debut in the 2015 romantic action film ‘Hero’ alongside Sooraj Pancholi, directed by Nikhil Advani and based on co-producer Subhash Ghai’s 1983 blockbuster of the same name.
She was last seen in the film ‘Motichoor Chaknachoor’ opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui. According to reports, she is all set to play the lead role in ‘Hope Solo’, footballer Afshan Ashiq’s biopic.
