Bollywood producer Firoz Nadiadwala is all set to work on the epic Mahabharat for the big screen and the film will be made on a budget of Rs 700 crore. Yes, you read that right.
According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the film will be made in 5D format and will be released by the end of 2025.
The report further stated that Firoz Nadiadwala has started work on the film and aims to make it the most ‘visually stunning film ever in Indian cinema’.
The work on the script has been reportedly going on for 4-5 years and the makers would spend a couple of years more on the pre-production.

Reportedly, the principal photography will commence in the first quarter of 2025 and it will be released in Hindi and would be dubbed in several other languages.
The producer is ‘confident that it would be India’s answer to Marvel and DC movies and also that of The Lord of The Rings, Game Of Thrones, Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc’.
The news portal further stated in its report that the actors being considered for the film are Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Paresh Rawal, Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor. The hunt for a director is currently underway.
It may be mentioned that Akshay, Ranveer and Ajay were earlier seen together in the film ‘Sooryavanshi’.
