After several days of leaked photos, surprising announcements and shocking twists in Rakhi Sawant’s love life, her husband Adil Khan Durrani has finally confirmed that they indeed got married.
On Monday, Adil took to his Instagram handle to share a picture from his wedding with Rakhi and stated that he never denied being married to her.
He also revealed a cute nickname that he has for Rakhi.
Adil accepts wedding with Rakhi
Sharing pictures from their court marriage, Adil wrote, “So here’s an announcement finally, I never said I am not married to you Rakhi. Just had to handle few things so had to be quiet.”
He added, “Happy married life to us Rakhi (pappudi)”.
As soon as he shared the post, an overjoyed Rakhi commented, “Thanks jaan lots of love”.
Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee also congratulated the couple on their wedding.

Rakhi recently took the internet by storm after pictures from her secret wedding were leaked online. She then revealed that she got married to longtime boyfriend Adil in July 2022 itself, but did not make it public as Adil felt that his relationship with Rakhi can hamper his sister’s wedding.
However, when the photos surfaced online, Adil initially denied the marriage and called the pictures fake. However, he later admitted that the two were happily married.
Rakhi also changed her name to ‘Rakhi Sawant Fatima’ post her nikah with Adil.
